About the Role
The Maintenance Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. This role is responsible for performing routine and corrective maintenance on production equipment, machinery, and related systems to ensure smooth and safe operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnosing equipment issues.
- Executing repairs on production equipment, machinery, and related systems.
- Supporting preventive maintenance schedules.
- Coordinating with production teams to minimize downtime.
- Monitoring equipment performance.
- Maintaining maintenance records.
- Suggesting improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency.
- Adhering to safety standards.
- Supporting audits and inspections.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams on technical and process-related initiatives.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Skills in Equipment Maintenance.
- Skills in Maintenance & Repair for industrial machinery.
- Skills in Maintenance Engineering, including troubleshooting and reliability improvement.
- Skills in Preventive Maintenance, including planning, scheduling, and documentation.
- Skills in Electrical Maintenance, including basic electrical diagnostics and repairs.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, equipment manuals, and maintenance procedures.
- Basic proficiency in maintenance-related software or MS Office for reporting and record-keeping.
Qualifications
- Relevant diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent technical qualification).
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial plant environment, preferably with automotive or machinery components.
- Strong focus on workplace safety, adherence to standards.
- Effective communication with operations teams.
