About the Role

Kanan.co is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join their Forex Remittance Team. This role involves assisting study-abroad aspirants with their international payment requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Counsel students and parents regarding international remittances, tuition payments, and forex-related requirements.
• Explain transaction procedures, applicable charges, exchange rates, and documentation.
• Coordinate with banking and authorized forex partners for smooth transaction execution.
• Manage student enquiries, follow-ups, and service conversions.
• Maintain accurate transaction records, Excel trackers, and MIS reports.
• Assist with payment calculations, verification, and reconciliation.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Basic financial knowledge, including GST, applicable tax slabs, and TDS.
• Understanding of banking payment methods: RTGS, NEFT, UPI, and Cheque Payments.
• Good command of MS Excel, including formulas, percentages, calculations, and reporting.
• Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills with a customer-oriented approach.
• Willingness to learn about foreign exchange, LRS, TCS, and international remittance processes.

Qualifications

• B.Com / BBA / Finance / Accounting or related disciplines preferred.
• Freshers with the right aptitude are encouraged to apply.
• Prior experience in Banking, BFSI, Forex, or Student Financial Services would be an added advantage.
