2027 Summer Intern, Formulations

About the Role

This is an onsite Summer Intern position in Ashland, OH.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare basic to complex dosing material and samples for solutions, suspensions, capsules, and dispensations.
• Utilize various mixing methods and apparatuses to prepare formulations (such as sonicator, homogenizer, mortar pestle, pH meter, balances).
• Efficiently perform and document all procedures, materials, and results in compliance with applicable regulatory standards (GLPs, protocols, methods, SOPs).
• Assist in washing and maintenance of glassware and lab cleanliness.
• Demonstrate effective communication skills through informal discussions with peers, supervisor, and team.
• Independently identify equipment issues and notify proper personnel.
• Performs all other related duties and functions as assigned.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and be flexible.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite), commensurate with essential functions, including the ability to learn a validated system.

Qualifications

• Education: Working on Bachelor of Science degree.
• Prefer 2nd or 3rd year students.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.

Pay range: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour.
