Retail Pharmacy Technician

Role Overview

Join a supportive outpatient pharmacy team, contributing to patient care by performing clerical and support duties under pharmacist supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete clerical tasks such as sending/receiving tubes, filing prescriptions, and processing mail.
• Enter customer, insurance, and prescription information; handle prescription transfers.
• Sell prescriptions using POS systems, manage cash transactions, and reconcile payments.
• Order, manage, and rotate inventory; perform cycle counts and remove expired products.
• Perform data entry, contact management, product dispensing (manual and automated), and basic compounding.

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma or GED.
• State Board Pharmacy Registration.
• No prior experience required.
• Attributes: Motivated, patient-centered, collaborative, and detail-oriented.
• Previous retail or outpatient pharmacy experience is preferred.
