About the Role
The Internship- Fermentation role at Novo Nordisk is part of the NNPILP Early Talent Summer Internship Program. This is a 10-week, full-time, hands-on work experience opportunity within the Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) facility, specifically supporting the Fermentation, Recovery and Purification processes.
- Program Start Date: May 17, 2027
- Program End Date: July 23, 2027
Key Responsibilities
- Support process engineering in fermentation.
- Develop and track KPIs for the fermentation team in broth delivery.
- Work closely with Process Engineers (PEs).
- Attend all meetings and provide weekly updates on progress.
- Produce a final report to present to the management team at the end of the internship.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Pursuing an undergraduate degree.
- Chemical Engineer / Mechanical Engineer majors preferred.
- Must be a rising junior or rising senior with a 3.0 GPA or above.
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, and familiarity/capability in most other Microsoft Office applications.
- 0% overnight travel required.
