Junior Engineer

About the Role

The Junior Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bikaner.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, designing, and implementing solar power systems.
• Conduct site surveys, data collection, and basic system layout.
• Support senior engineers in project documentation.
• Prepare technical reports.
• Coordinate with installation teams to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
• Monitor project progress.
• Perform basic troubleshooting under guidance.
• Maintain records of materials, equipment, and work completed.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Follow established procedures.
• Actively learn new tools and methods relevant to solar engineering.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Foundational technical skills in electrical or mechanical engineering, with an interest in solar energy systems.
• Basic skills in drafting, CAD or similar design tools.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Practical skills related to site inspection, measurement, and data recording.
• Adherence to safety protocols.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Analytical thinking.
• Ability to follow engineering standards and guidelines.
• Effective communication skills.
• Teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to learn from senior engineers and supervisors.
• Ability to work on-site in Bikaner and travel to project locations as required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering (electrical, mechanical, renewable energy, or related field) is preferred.
• Basic understanding of solar PV technology, power systems, and industry best practices is an advantage.
