About the Role
The CAD Designer role at IEPCC Solutions is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The CAD Designer will produce detailed technical and construction drawings using CAD software for projects in the petroleum, oil and gas, offshore–onshore, and marine sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce detailed technical and construction drawings using CAD software.
- Interpret design specifications.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams.
- Update and revise drawings based on feedback.
- Ensure that all documentation meets industry standards and project requirements.
- Coordinate with project managers and engineers to align designs with project timelines, quality expectations, and safety guidelines.
- Maintain organized drawing archives.
- Support continuous improvement of design processes.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Advanced Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills for creating accurate and detailed design models.
- Experience working with industry-standard CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
- Familiarity with applicable codes and standards.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Technical Drawing and Drawing for industrial and engineering projects.
- Expertise in Construction Drawings for petroleum, oil and gas, offshore–onshore, and marine applications.
- Design Engineering skills to translate project requirements into practical and safe design solutions.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Mechanical, Civil, Marine, or related engineering discipline.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering documents.
- Commitment to quality and HSE practices.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in an on-site environment.
