About the Role
The Spanish Interpreter will provide accurate, confidential, and clear interpretation between Spanish and English in an on-site setting located in Pune District. This full-time role involves supporting clients and internal teams by interpreting spoken communication during meetings, consultations, and other interactions, including medical and business contexts as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform consecutive and simultaneous interpretation between Spanish and English.
- Assist with translation of written materials.
- Ensure that information is conveyed faithfully without additions or omissions.
- Collaborate with other language service professionals.
- Maintain detailed and secure records where required.
- Adhere to professional ethics and organizational policies.
- Prepare glossaries.
- Stay updated on relevant terminology.
- Participate in training to maintain high standards of service.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- On-site interpretation in Pune District.
- Full-time role.
- Ability to work fluently between Spanish and English.
- Experience in Simultaneous Interpretation.
- Experience in Consecutive Interpretation.
- Proficiency in Medical Interpretation.
- Capability in Translation of documents and written materials between Spanish and English.
- Excellent listening, note-taking, and communication skills.
- High level of cultural competence.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments.
- Ability to maintain professionalism under time constraints.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in on-site interpretation or language services, preferably in corporate or healthcare environments.
- Relevant academic background or certification in interpretation, translation, linguistics, or a related field.
