About the Role

MedTourEasy is a modern healthcare analytics platform that transforms complex healthcare data into actionable insights for hospitals and healthcare organizations. The Data Analyst Traineeship is a remote program focused on supporting the analytics team in turning healthcare data into meaningful insights. This program is designed to provide hands-on experience with healthcare analytics tools and workflows while developing practical data skills in a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Collecting and cleaning datasets.
• Assisting with data modeling.
• Performing basic statistical analysis under guidance.
• Building and updating reports and dashboards.
• Documenting data processes.
• Contributing to data quality checks.
• Collaborating with team members to interpret findings.
• Preparing clear visualizations.
• Communicating key observations to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong Analytical Skills and foundational experience in Data Analytics.
• Basic knowledge of Statistics to interpret data trends and support evidence-based insights.
• Skills in Data Modeling or a willingness to learn data structuring and relational concepts.
• Clear Communication skills to present data findings in an understandable and concise manner.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setup, manage time effectively, and show curiosity to learn healthcare analytics concepts.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Basic proficiency in spreadsheets, SQL, or a programming language such as Python or R is beneficial.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar) is an advantage.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
