Electrical Engineer Intern

About the Role

The Electrical Engineer Intern will support on-site engineering and automation activities at the Faridabad facility. This internship role includes assisting in electrical design for control panels, helping with wiring, testing, and documentation, and supporting PLC/HMI/SCADA configuration under the guidance of senior engineers. The intern will help in troubleshooting electrical and automation issues, participate in installation and commissioning tasks, and contribute to basic load calculations and power distribution layouts. The role also involves maintaining project records, following safety standards, and collaborating with the engineering team to meet project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in electrical design for control panels.
• Help with wiring, testing, and documentation.
• Support PLC/HMI/SCADA configuration.
• Assist in troubleshooting electrical and automation issues.
• Participate in installation and commissioning tasks.
• Contribute to basic load calculations and power distribution layouts.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Electrical Design (focusing on control panels and industrial automation systems)
• Power Distribution and Power Systems
• PLC/HMI/SCADA (familiarity is an advantage)
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
• Ability to use basic electrical tools and instruments safely.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong understanding of Electricity fundamentals.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail.

• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment.
• Prior project or internship experience in industrial automation is a plus.
