About the Role
Speed Bangle Pvt Ltd, from the House of Sky Gold & Diamonds Ltd, is seeking a full-time, on-site CNC Jewellery Designer and Programmer based in Mumbai.
Key Responsibilities
- Creating detailed jewellery designs.
- Converting concepts into precise technical drawings.
- Developing CAD models suitable for CNC machining.
- Preparing and optimizing CNC programs.
- Ensuring accurate tool paths.
- Coordinating with production teams to achieve high-quality output.
- Reviewing design specifications.
- Adjusting models for manufacturability.
- Performing test runs.
- Troubleshooting design or programming issues.
- Maintaining design files.
- Adhering to quality and safety standards.
- Collaborating with design, quality, and manufacturing colleagues to meet delivery timelines.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Jewelry Design and Fashion Jewelry skills, with an understanding of current trends and manufacturing constraints.
- Drawing and Product Design skills to translate concepts into accurate technical representations.
- Computer-Aided Design (CAD) skills, ideally with experience in jewellery-specific CAD software and CNC-compatible file preparation.
- CNC programming and machine operation skills, including tool path creation, parameter setting, and basic troubleshooting.
Qualifications
- Relevant qualifications such as a diploma or degree in Jewellery Design, Product Design, Mechanical Design, or a related field are beneficial.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Familiarity with production workflows in jewellery manufacturing is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Readiness to learn new tools and techniques will be highly valued.
