About the Role
The CAM Programmer role at Auronix Tech is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The CAM Programmer will create and optimize CNC programs for milling and machining operations, ensuring efficient material usage and accurate component production.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret technical drawings.
- Prepare tool paths.
- Select appropriate tools and cutting parameters.
- Validate programs through simulations and trial runs.
- Collaborate with design, production, and quality teams to resolve manufacturing issues, improve process reliability, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain documentation.
- Update program libraries.
- Follow safety and quality standards on the shop floor.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Mastercam Software (Mandatory)
- CNC/VMC Programming skills
- Milling and general Machining processes experience
- Technical Drawing skills
- Ability to interpret engineering blueprints and CAD models
- Familiarity with CNC/VMC machine operation is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to troubleshoot machining and programming issues.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to communicate clearly with operators and engineers.
- Knowledge of safety practices, quality standards, and basic GD&T will be an advantage.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Production Engineering, or a related field is beneficial.
