Inside Sales Specialist

About the Role

Core & Main is a specialty distributor focused on water, wastewater, storm drainage, and fire protection products and related services. This role involves being a critical player on the team, managing projects from beginning to end, and appreciating variety and flexibility. The role requires problem-solving, customer interaction, and working in a fast-paced environment while gaining trust and maintaining relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the sales process
• Look for upsell opportunities
• Manage current accounts
• Oversee customer orders and quote requests received through multiple channels for all levels of accounts

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Demonstrated success working with customers
• Inventory sales/order systems experience
• Prior experience in industrial distribution or construction supply
• Customer service skills

Compensation

• Pay: $21.15 - $30.22 per hour
