About the Role
The Security Professional role is a full-time hybrid position based in New Delhi, with some work-from-home flexibility. The role involves assisting in designing, implementing, and maintaining CCTV, access control, and related surveillance systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitoring system performance
- Conducting routine inspections and preventive maintenance
- Responding to security incidents or alerts
- Coordinating necessary repairs or upgrades
- Documenting findings
- Preparing incident and maintenance reports
- Collaborating with technical and operations teams
- Providing clear communication and guidance to clients on system usage and security best practices
- Following established safety and compliance standards
- Contributing to continuous improvement of security processes
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Cybersecurity and Information Security
- Physical Security (e.g., CCTV deployment, access control devices, on-site inspections)
- Network Security (basic network configuration for IP cameras, NVRs, secure data transmission)
- Communication skills
- Familiarity with major CCTV and security brands (e.g., Cisco, Hikvision, Dahua, CERTIS) is highly beneficial
- Ability to interpret security policies and follow standard operating procedures
- Ability to adhere to regulatory and industry compliance requirements
- Analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Attention to detail
- Proactive approach to preventive maintenance and incident response
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Cybersecurity and Information Security.
- Hands-on experience with Physical Security.
- Knowledge of Network Security.
- Effective Communication skills.
- Relevant certification or diploma in security systems, networking, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Prior experience in security or surveillance operations is an advantage.
