Associate Dentist

About the Role

The Associate Dentist will provide comprehensive dental care at Borgaonkar's Dental Studio, a patient-focused dental practice dedicated to providing high-quality, evidence-based oral healthcare in Kalyan, Maharashtra. This is a full-time, on-site role.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive dental care, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and delivery of restorative, preventive, and basic endodontic and prosthodontic procedures.
• Examine patients and interpret radiographs.
• Perform clinical procedures such as fillings, extractions (as appropriate), scaling, and root planing.
• Advise patients on oral hygiene and preventive care.
• Maintain accurate clinical records.
• Ensure adherence to infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with dental assistants and other team members to deliver efficient patient care.
• Communicate treatment options clearly to patients.
• Manage follow-up visits.
• Contribute to a positive patient experience.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• BDS degree from a recognized institution.
• Current registration with the appropriate dental council and eligibility to practice dentistry in the region.
• Clinical proficiency in routine dental procedures, including diagnosis, treatment planning, restorative treatments, preventive care, and basic emergency management.
• Strong patient communication skills, including the ability to explain treatment options, obtain informed consent, and provide clear post-treatment instructions.
• Commitment to strict infection control, sterilization standards, and overall clinic hygiene protocols.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment, showing professionalism, reliability, and respect for colleagues and patients.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques, technologies, and practice protocols.
• Openness to mentoring and supervision when required.

Qualifications

• MDS or specialty training in fields such as endodontics, prosthodontics, or periodontics is an advantage.
• Prior experience in a clinical dental practice is preferred.
• Newly graduated dentists with strong clinical skills and willingness to be trained are also encouraged to apply.

Note: Only candidates staying in Kalyan, Maharashtra will be considered.
