- Assist in developing SOP/essay strategies, including brainstorming, story selection, narrative structure, and positioning.
- Draft, edit, and refine application essays while maintaining the student's authentic voice and ensuring alignment with university requirements.
- Assist in creating and strengthening CVs/resumes by translating experiences into concise, impact-oriented achievement statements.
- Support the development of Letters of Recommendation (LORs) by identifying relevant experiences, competencies, and evidence from a student's profile.
- Conduct research on universities, programs, application requirements, and industry/career trends to inform application strategy.
- Review application materials critically and provide constructive feedback on clarity, coherence, positioning, and overall narrative.
- Maintain high standards of grammar, structure, accuracy, and attention to detail across all student-facing documents.
- Collaborate with counsellors and senior application strategists to understand student requirements and execute application deliverables.
Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong command of English grammar, vocabulary, and sentence construction.
- Ability to analyse information and identify the story or insight behind an experience, rather than simply summarising it.

- Interest in higher education, university admissions, career development, writing, or consulting.
- Ability to structure complex information clearly and communicate it effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to iterate based on feedback.
- Proactive, organised, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience with writing, editing, research, university applications, or content creation is a plus.
What You Will Learn

- Essay/SOP strategy and narrative development.
- CV and profile positioning.
- LOR strategy and recommender positioning.
- Student profile analysis and extracurricular positioning.
- Research and application requirements across international universities.
This internship is particularly suited for candidates who enjoy writing but are equally interested in understanding people, analysing experiences, and developing strategic narratives.
