About the Role
This is a full-time, on-site Electrical Technician role based in Chennai.
Key Responsibilities
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment used in EPCC projects.
- Performing routine inspections of electrical systems and equipment.
- Diagnosing faults and troubleshooting electrical issues.
- Ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently.
- Reading and interpreting electrical schematics.
- Supporting project teams during commissioning activities.
- Adhering to all relevant safety, quality, and HSE standards.
- Collaborating with engineers, supervisors, and other technicians to minimize downtime.
- Supporting continuous improvement in electrical operations.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong skills in Electrical Maintenance.
- Experience working with Electrical Equipment.
- Solid understanding of Electricity and basic Electrical Engineering principles.
- Proven Troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving electrical faults.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Ability to use standard electrical tools and test equipment.
- Knowledge of safety standards, HSE practices, and compliance with electrical codes and regulations.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Problem-solving abilities.
- Capability to work in on-site, field-based conditions.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field is preferred.
- Experience as an Electrical Technician in industrial, oil and gas, or marine environments is an advantage.
