Cashier

About the Role

The Cashier role is a full-time, on-site position based in Navi Mumbai.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle daily cash and digital transactions.
• Issue receipts.
• Reconcile balances at the end of each shift.
• Assist customers with payments.
• Resolve basic billing queries.
• Maintain accurate records in the point-of-sale system.
• Coordinate with operations and support teams on payment status.
• Process refunds or adjustments as per guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with company policies.
• Provide courteous, efficient service and help maintain a smooth front-desk and payment experience.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong cash-handling skills (managing cash drawers, processing payments, end-of-day reconciliation).
• Proficiency with point-of-sale systems.
• Proficiency with online payment gateways.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications (e.g., spreadsheets, email).
• Clear and professional communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, billing, and record-keeping.
• Customer service mindset.
• Ability to work on-site full time in Navi Mumbai.
• Ability to manage time effectively.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, tech-enabled environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in cashier, retail, or front-desk roles is preferred.
• Familiarity with digital or online services is a plus.
• Minimum educational qualification: high school diploma or equivalent.
• Additional training in accounting or commerce is beneficial.
