About the Role

The Food Service Team Member position involves providing excellent customer service, preparing food, maintaining a clean store, and ensuring operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service:
• Greet and assist customers.
• Take customer orders and provide suggestions.
• Ensure customer satisfaction.
• Address customer questions or concerns professionally.
• Food Preparation:
• Prepare sandwiches, wraps, salads, and other menu items according to standards.
• Handle ingredients and follow food safety protocols for storage and handling.
• Toast sandwiches, prepare hot meals, and ensure proper portion sizes.
• Maintain quality and presentation of food items.
• Cash Handling:
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and process transactions.
• Accurately handle cash and provide correct change.
• Assist with balancing the cash register and perform end-of-shift cash counting.
• Store Cleanliness and Maintenance:
• Keep the store clean and organized, including dining area, restrooms, and kitchen.
• Perform regular cleaning tasks.
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures.
• Teamwork:
• Collaborate with other team members for smooth operations.
• Assist with training new team members.
• Support team efforts during busy periods.
• Stocking and Inventory:
• Restock ingredients, supplies, and other items.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages to management.
• Ensure proper storage of ingredients and materials.
• Opening and Closing Duties (if applicable):
• Assist with opening and closing the store.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Must be 17 or older.
• Availability for flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Previous food service or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• Must adhere to all health and safety regulations.

Physical Demands

• Standing for long periods and moving around the store.
