About the Role
CortixIQ Global Intelligence is an independent decision-intelligence and research firm founded in 2023. This full-time remote Accounts Receivable Specialist role is responsible for managing the end-to-end accounts receivable cycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Generating and sending invoices
- Monitoring outstanding balances
- Reconciling customer accounts
- Ensuring timely and accurate posting of payments
- Proactively following up on past-due accounts
- Conducting professional and compliant debt collection activities
- Resolving billing issues in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Preparing regular aging reports
- Analyzing payment trends
- Supporting month-end closing processes
- Contributing to continuous improvement of billing and collection procedures
- Maintaining consistent communication with clients and internal teams
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Analytical Skills to interpret aging reports, identify trends, and support data-driven decisions
- Finance-related skills, including knowledge of accounts receivable, basic accounting principles, and reconciliation processes
- Communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams (written and verbal)
- Debt Collection experience
- Invoicing skills
- Proficiency with accounting or ERP software and advanced spreadsheet skills (e.g., Excel or Google Sheets) is beneficial
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks effectively
- Experience in B2B services, research, or technology-related environments is an advantage
Qualifications
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
