About the Role
Aakruthi Facade Solutions Pvt. Ltd., based in Bengaluru, is a multidisciplinary facade design and engineering outsourcing agency. This is a full-time, on-site Facade Designer position based in Bengaluru.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing facade concepts and detailed design solutions for cladding and glazing systems.
- Preparing and reviewing shop drawings.
- Coordinating with structural and MEP teams to ensure integration with the host structure.
- Supporting pre-tender design activities.
- Creating production and installation drawings.
- Contributing to BIM models and clash investigations.
- Collaborating with project managers, architects, and fabricators to ensure designs meet performance, sustainability, safety, and aesthetic requirements.
- Assisting in resolving technical issues during fabrication and installation.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong knowledge of facade systems.
- Experience in material and system detailing for cladding and glazing.
- Proficiency in preparing and interpreting shop drawings for facade projects.
- Skills in CAD/BIM tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Inventor) for 2D and 3D facade modeling.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Understanding of structural and thermal performance of building envelopes and relevant building codes/standards.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to read and coordinate multidisciplinary drawings.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work with cross-functional design and project teams on-site.
