About the Role
Join Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) as an Environmental Services Manager in Training. This paid 12-week program will equip you to manage your own account and oversee housekeeping, laundry, and floor care operations at a long-term care facility through hands-on and computer-based training.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in managing and supervising housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff.
- Learn to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and federal/state requirements.
- Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.
- Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
- Act as liaison between building occupants/administrators and HCSG staff, effectively communicating directives.
- All other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Computer skills with the ability to maintain records and complete reports as required, including web-based reporting.
- Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
- Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended periods.
- Must be able to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously.
- Must be able to work around food and cleaning products.
- Able to follow oral and written instructions, and perform routine, repetitive tasks daily.
- Residency within the service area required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Maintain a positive attitude and effectively communicate with building occupants, administration, and HCSG leadership to perform daily tasks.
Pay Rate
USD $21.00 - USD $24.00 /Hr. Pay wage will vary based on objective factors, including location, years of experience, staffing needs, and other business reasons.
