About the Role
BCE Global Tech - A Bell Canada Company is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to work with clients, understanding their business needs and translating them into technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy custom applications and features on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Aura components.
- Integrate Salesforce with enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware solutions.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and scalable solutions.
- Perform code reviews, ensuring high-quality, maintainable, and performant code.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within the Salesforce environment.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and stakeholders to define project scope and objectives.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, promoting technical excellence.
- Stay updated with the latest Salesforce releases, features, and best practices.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proven expertise in Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, SOSL, and JavaScript.
- Strong experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura Components.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce integration patterns and technologies.
- Solid understanding of:
- Salesforce data model
- Salesforce security model
- Declarative tools (Process Builder, Flow, Validation Rules)
- Experience working within the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), preferably in Agile environments.
Qualifications
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of SAFe Agile methodology.
- Experience working in global environments.
