Procurement Executive, ATS Logistics Procurement

About the Role

We are seeking a highly effective Procurement Executive with transportation procurement experience to optimize and streamline the carrier sourcing, contracting, and invoicing cycle. This role partners with internal business owners and key stakeholders to onboard carriers, execute and manage contracts across multiple transportation verticals, run the self-invoicing cycle, and maintain rate cards for the region. The position will work with multiple teams to develop, analyse, and identify areas of improvement, and roll out new processes. A working understanding of carrier management, rate negotiation, invoicing, and internal Amazon system workflows will be key.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate carrier procurement, contracting, and self-invoicing work across transportation verticals.
• Set up processes to meet defined KPIs and metrics, and maintain accurate trackers across carriers and lanes.
• Onboard and set up carrier partners for transportation, including supporting expansion into newer segments.
• Execute and manage contracts across transportation verticals: standard transportation, AMXL last mile, air, and rail.
• Run the self-invoicing cycle, including manual rate negotiation and closure for carriers on a fixed fortnightly cadence.
• Prepare and distribute self-invoicing reports and manage distribution of VRIDs.
• Handle carrier invoicing disputes end to end.
• Maintain and update rate cards, rate card addendums, and supporting documentation.
• Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and trackers for carriers, rates, and invoices.
• Identify and drive process improvements and automation opportunities.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Bachelor's degree, or experience in program management, logistics, operations, supply chain, transportation, or a related field.
• Experience in a procurement organization performing vendor management, contract management, negotiating complex purchases, and bidding.
• Knowledge of purchase orders and invoice payments.
• Experience in negotiation and selling.
• Experience communicating clearly and concisely with leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
• Computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in transportation operations and industry knowledge.
• Experience with data analysis tools such as Excel, Pivot Tables, macros, SQL, visualization tools - Tableau, Quicksight, etc.
