Project Engineer

About the Role

The Project Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in New Delhi. The Project Engineer will oversee interior fit-out projects from planning through execution, ensuring work is completed to specification, on schedule, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee interior fit-out projects from planning through execution.
• Ensure work is completed to specification, on schedule, and within budget.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal teams.
• Prepare project plans.
• Track progress.
• Manage site activities.
• Review technical drawings.
• Supervise contractors and vendors.
• Monitor quality and safety standards.
• Resolve on-site issues.
• Support material selection.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes and guidelines.
• Prepare regular status reports for stakeholders.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Project Engineering and Project Planning skills.
• Experience managing interior or construction projects from inception to handover.
• Proficient Project Management capabilities, including scheduling, resource allocation, risk management, and coordination with multiple stakeholders.
• Effective Communication skills for clear interaction with clients, consultants, vendors, and site teams, both verbally and in writing.
• Relevant Electrical Engineering knowledge to interpret drawings, coordinate services, and ensure technical compliance for interior fit-out projects.
• Hands-on experience in on-site execution, quality control, and safety practices within interior fit-out or construction environments.
• Proficiency in project-related software (such as MS Project, Excel, AutoCAD or similar) is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and adapt to dynamic site conditions and timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, or related field) or equivalent technical qualification.
