About the Role
Veeva Systems is building the industry cloud for Life Sciences to help companies work in a more efficient and connected way. We are hiring recent university graduates to grow the next generation of Software Engineers through our Engineering Development Program. This program is designed to provide a challenging environment to learn quickly and deliver value early, equipping you with the resources to become an excellent engineer.

Requirements & Tech Stack
- Computer Science fundamentals are important.
- Must have taken relevant C.S. classes, including at least one Compilers or Operating Systems class.
- High work ethic.
- High integrity and honesty.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Ability and desire to work in office 4 days/week for the first two years.
- After 2 years, flexibility to Work Anywhere.
Technology Stack
- System software: Java or Rust
- Application logic: Java, Python, TypeScript
- Front end: JavaScript, React, TypeScript
- Mobile: Swift, Kotlin, React Native
- AI: Claude
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, or related field from an accredited 4-year university with a 3.0 to 4.0 GPA.
- 0-2 years of professional software experience.
The Process
- Submit application and take a personality test.
- Notification via email within one week.
- 1-hour online coding challenge in Java or Python.
- 2-hour interview with a tech evaluation team, including a coding exercise in Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Offer or notification within one week after the interview.
- One week to accept or decline the offer.

Compensation
- Starting base pay (Cash + RSU): $125,000 + sign-on bonus in Boston.
- Starting bonus of $20,000.

- Veeva does not provide sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B, OPT, or TN status).
Work Environment
- Associate Software Engineers are required to work in their designated office Monday-Thursday for the first two years.
