Entry Level Marketing Assistant

About the Role

This role offers the chance to learn how businesses promote their services, connect with customers, and turn marketing ideas into real activity. We’re looking for an Entry-Level Marketing Assistant in Columbus, OH to support promotional campaigns, help coordinate marketing projects, and contribute to customer engagement activities. You’ll work alongside an experienced team, develop your communication skills, and gain hands-on experience across different areas of marketing.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation and delivery of marketing campaigns.
• Helping organize promotional materials, presentations, and campaign resources.
• Supporting marketing events and brand awareness activities.
• Researching competitors, target audiences, and market trends.
• Communicating with team members to coordinate campaign requirements.
• Helping prepare marketing content for digital and other promotional channels.
• Organizing campaign schedules, project updates, and marketing records.
• Gathering customer feedback and sharing useful insights with the team.
• Tracking campaign activity and helping prepare basic performance reports.
• Following up on outstanding tasks to keep projects moving.
• Participating in team meetings, campaign briefings, and training sessions.

Qualifications

• Good written and verbal communication.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• An interest in marketing, branding, promotions, or customer behaviour.
• Confidence working with different people.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new systems.
• A proactive attitude and ability to follow instructions.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Previous experience in retail, hospitality, sales, customer service, events, or administration is helpful but not essential.

Training will be provided on campaign processes, internal systems, and day-to-day responsibilities.
