About the Role
The Pharmacy Technician prepares and distributes medications under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
Estimated pay range: $18.15 - $23.60 / hour depending on experience.
$7,000 Bonus available with experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Filling and labeling medications
- Refilling Pyxis
- Delivering medications to patient care areas
- Preparing IV admixture solutions
- Answering the telephone and directing calls
- Maintaining medication stock levels
- Maintaining proper storage of medications
- Proficient in basic computer skills
- Appropriately uses information systems, technology and automation
Requirements & Tech Stack
- High School, Cert, GED, Trn, Exper.
- Registered Pharmacy Technician
Qualifications
- Hospital experience preferred
- PTCB or ICPT Certification preferred
