Field Services Engineer

About the Role

REAN ENTERPRISE is hiring a full-time Field Services Engineer based in Mumbai with a hybrid work arrangement.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit customer sites to install, configure, and maintain medical equipment and systems, ensuring they function reliably and efficiently.
• Diagnose technical issues, perform troubleshooting and repairs.
• Conduct preventive maintenance.
• Document service activities.
• Provide prompt technical support.
• Coordinate with internal teams for complex issues.
• Clearly communicate findings and solutions to customers.
• Build strong customer relationships by delivering responsive service.
• Train users on basic operations.
• Identify opportunities to improve system performance and uptime.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong field service capabilities, including on-site installation, configuration, and support for CT / Ultrasound and other imaging equipment and systems.
• Hands-on troubleshooting skills to identify root causes, perform repairs, and resolve hardware, software, or connectivity issues efficiently.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and scheduled servicing.
• Customer service skills to communicate clearly, manage expectations, and build trust.
• Familiarity with industry-standard tools and safety practices.
• Comfort working in a hybrid model, with the ability to travel to customer sites Pan India as required.

Qualifications

• Relevant technical education (e.g., diploma or degree in Bio-med engineering, electronics, or a related field).
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Attention to detail.
• Capacity to work independently as well as within cross-functional teams.
