- Entry-level (no experience): $50k - $60k (The upper end of the range ($60K) may not apply to candidates with no prior experience. Salary will be determined based on experience and skills.)
- Experienced candidates: $60k - $70k

Summary
This entry-level position involves handling client payroll processing (approx. 40%), individual income tax filing support (approx. 40%), and general administrative/client support tasks (approx. 20%). On-the-job training will be provided by experienced managers, making it an ideal environment for those looking to build a career in accounting and tax.
Key Responsibilities
- Payroll
- Consolidate payroll data provided by clients
- Perform tax gross-up calculations
- Process payroll using various payroll systems (bi-weekly, semi-monthly, monthly)
- Review payroll previews, finalize payroll, and communicate results to clients
- Individual Income Tax Support
- Assist in preparing individual income tax returns
- Process related tasks in collaboration with the overseas team
- Participate in a ~3-week business trip to Japan during peak season (February - April) to collaborate with local staff
- General Administration & Client Support
- Communicate with clients and coordinate meetings
- Prepare documents, handle mailings, and perform other office duties
- Agree to company policies and a confidentiality agreement prior to employment
- Perform other assigned tasks
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Business-level Japanese and English proficiency
- General administrative or basic accounting experience
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
- High IT literacy is welcomed
- Authorization to work in the U.S. (visa sponsorship is not provided)
- Ability to commute to the office
