Job Title: Material Handler, 1st Shift
About the Role
- 1st Shift: 6 am - 2 pm (subject to change if overtime is needed)
Key Responsibilities
- Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory.
- Maintains in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
- Routes items to various departments.
- Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections.
- Operates material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, or dollies to move stock or reorganize storage.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- High school diploma or GED, or 1-3 months equivalent experience.
- Skill in lifting heavy packages and objects.
- Skill in operating forklift or other materials handling equipment.
- Skill in both verbal and written communication.
- Knowledge of safety practices.
- Must be capable of cross-training in various areas.
- Team player with organizational skills.
