Entry Level Detailer

About the Role

The detailer coordinates customer requirements, drawings, and specifications to provide Nucor Insulated Panel Group product installation drawings and bills of materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret structural and architectural contract documents correctly and accurately.
• Develop detailed drawings utilizing both commercially available and proprietary software platforms for manufacturing.
• Develop accurate and easy-to-follow approval and/or construction drawings to ensure installed material meets required performance specifications.
• Develop Bills of Materials to produce shipping lists of parts and components for plant and customer use.
• Communicate needs and challenges identified to all team members for prompt issue resolution.
• Interact with internal and external customers to develop design solutions that meet project-specific requirements.
• Maintain continued awareness of project schedule and budget.
• Meet or exceed department accuracy goals.
• Manage multiple ongoing projects from the design phase through manufacturing and erection.
• Uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• AutoCAD

Qualifications

• High school diploma
• AutoCAD experience
• Previous AutoCAD experience is preferred.
