Technical Trainer

About the Role

This full-time Technical Trainer role at NEXTGEN LEARNERS is a hybrid position based in Chennai, involving on-site training and work-from-home responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver technical training programs, including classroom sessions, virtual classes, workshops, and labs.
• Prepare training materials and content.
• Conduct engaging training sessions.
• Assess learner performance and provide constructive feedback and support.
• Collaborate with curriculum designers and subject matter experts.
• Update modules based on technology and industry changes.
• Maintain training documentation and reports.
• Participate in train-the-trainer sessions.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of training processes.
• Ensure an inclusive learning environment for diverse learner groups.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in using digital tools for training (e-learning platforms, LMS, virtual classroom tools).
• Proficiency in basic office productivity software.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Technical Training and Training & Development, including planning, delivering, and evaluating structured technical programs.
• Skills relevant to Technical Trainers and Training, such as session facilitation, classroom management, and learner engagement techniques.
• Excellent Communication skills, including clear presentation, active listening, and the ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms.
• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology) or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience delivering training to diverse groups.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt content and methods to different learner levels.
