ETL/DWH Testing Specialist

About the Role

This is a full-time, on-site ETL/DWH Testing Specialist role.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans for ETL processes and data warehouse solutions.
• Validate data flows from source to target systems.
• Create and maintain test cases.
• Perform data validation and reconciliation.
• Identify defects in ETL mappings, transformations, and integrations.
• Collaborate with data engineers, ETL developers, and business analysts to clarify requirements, ensure data accuracy, and support performance and regression testing.
• Document test results.
• Contribute to test automation where applicable.
• Support continuous improvement of data quality and testing practices.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong skills in Extract Transform Load (ETL) concepts.
• Hands-on experience with ETL Tools.
• Skills in Data Warehousing and Data Modeling for designing and validating data structures.
• Skills in Data Integration, including working with multiple data sources and ensuring accurate consolidation.
• Experience in functional testing, regression testing, and performance testing within data-centric projects.
• Proficiency in SQL for data validation, analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and data quality.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional technical and business teams.
• A relevant bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
• Experience with test management tools, defect tracking systems, and basic understanding of BI/reporting tools will be beneficial.
