Core Purpose
To oversee plant propagation, nursery health, and crop management across urban agrivoltaic and rooftop hydroponic systems. This role bridges agricultural science with urban sustainability, ensuring high-yielding, healthy, and pesticide-free setups.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the company nursery, ensuring high-quality seedling production, grafting, and substrate preparation for Microgreens, leafy greens, vegetables, and exotic crops.
- Oversee crop nutrition, automated watering schedules, and precise EC/pH balance in Microgreens setup, Nutrient Film Technique (NFT), and Dutch Bucket systems.
- Monitor crop lifecycles daily to diagnose nutrient deficiencies, pests, and diseases early, implementing strictly organic and bio-safe control measures.
- Conduct operational training for residential villa owners and commercial clients, helping them confidently manage their setups post-installation.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- 0-1 years of core experience running commercial nurseries or managing urban hydroponic/polyhouse setups.
- Fluency in Kannada and English is mandatory.
Qualifications
- Education: B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Agriculture, Horticulture, or a Diploma holder with equivalent hands-on experience.
- Core Traits: Strong observational skills, data-driven mindset for tracking crop yields, and a passion for urban farm-to-table models.
