About the Role

Jr. Design Engineer for a Manufacturing Company in Chakan, Pune.

Key Responsibilities

• Specialized in design and detailing of Special Purpose Machines.
• Processes involved in machine building: fabrication, machining, assembly work.
• Use design software to develop models and drawings of new products.
• Identify solutions to improve production efficiency.
• Maintain communication between the design department and the production department.
• Maintain records and reports.
• Maintain specifications, drawings, and technical manuals.
• Design new products and processes.
• Research new product ideas and improve existing products.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Good knowledge of drafting models and drawings of products using CAD.
• Practical experience in a fabrication department.
• Demonstrated industry experience focusing on functionality, manufacturability, innovation, and aesthetics.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Competency in computer software.

Qualifications

• DME / BE Mechanical.
• 0-2 years of experience in fabrication/machining/assembly.
• Fresher candidates can also apply.
• Attention to details.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred:

• A relevant certification.
• Basic knowledge of GD&T.
