Inside Sales Internship

About the Role

Shiksha Vertex is hiring an Inside Sales Intern. This is a six-month internship focused on helping learners discover upskilling opportunities and make informed choices about their education and career growth. As part of the sales and marketing team, you will contribute to learner conversations while gaining practical exposure to the education and e-learning industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Connect with prospective students and working professionals to understand their career goals and recommend suitable programs.
• Generate leads, conduct structured follow-ups, counsel prospects, and convert qualified opportunities into enrollments.
• Handle individual and bulk sales opportunities while working toward enrollment and performance targets.
• Explore lead-generation channels and apply suitable sales approaches to improve engagement and conversion.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and guide campus ambassadors across colleges to support quality lead generation.
• Coordinate with marketing colleagues to strengthen outreach, communication, and learner engagement.
• Maintain professionalism, confidence, accurate communication, and integrity in every interaction.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong interest in inside sales, education sales, business development, or marketing.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Good negotiation, persuasion, follow-up, and relationship-management abilities.
• A proactive, self-motivated, target-oriented approach and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work from the office in Bangalore and adapt to evolving sales strategies.

Qualifications

This internship offers hands-on learning in lead generation, student counselling, B2B and bulk sales, e-learning business models, education-product growth, and campus-team leadership.

The stipend is ₹15,000 per month, with performance incentives of up to ₹10,000 per month.

The initial 10 working days are unpaid.

The selection process includes a group discussion followed by an HR interview.
