Role Overview

Seeking a highly analytical and computationally proficient individual with a strong research background to contribute to crafting challenging problems in a research domain and devising computational solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Quantitative Problem Design and Solutioning:
• Develop and conceptualize original, research-grade or graduate-level scientific problems with scientific coding/programming, using Python.
• Define problem categories, secondary tags, and assign appropriate difficulty levels.
• Solve formulated problems using sound principles, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and logical coherence of the solution path.
• Quality Assurance & Collaboration:
• Participate in two-tier reviews, evaluating accuracy of problems and solutions.
• Collaborate with reviewers and team leads, incorporating feedback, refining content, and enhancing overall quality.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Python for scientific coding is preferred.

Qualifications

• PhD or PhD Candidates in Computational Biology/Bioinformatics.
• Published at least 1 peer-reviewed paper.
• Excellent analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Offer Details

• Commitments Required: At least 4 hours per day and minimum 20 hours per week with overlap of 4 hours with PST.
• Options: 20 hrs/week, 30 hrs/week, or 40 hrs/week.
• Engagement Type: Contractor assignment/freelancer.
• Duration of Contract: 3 months.
• Work Environment: Fully remote.
