About the Role
At Vertical Screen, Inc., the role of a Verification Researcher involves assisting job applicants by verifying their employment and education history. This is a phone-based, non-sales call center position focused on gathering accurate background information.
Work Schedule: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Monday - Friday.
Pay Rate: $16/hr.
Work Arrangement: Eligible for hybrid work (2 days in Warminster, PA office / 3 days remote work) after 6 months of employment.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify education and employment history.
- Conduct reference interviews.
- Perform research via outbound calls, fax, email, internet, and online database searches.
- Transcribe verified information and notes accurately using proprietary software.
- Meet pre-established production goals.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Experience in a fast-paced, inbound/outbound call center environment.
- Ability to multitask.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to efficiently operate and navigate a computer and internal software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
