About the Role
The Architecture Intern role at Aikyum is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram. The intern will support project teams in developing conceptual and detailed architectural designs, preparing drawings, and assisting with documentation for ongoing projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Support project teams in developing conceptual and detailed architectural designs.
- Prepare drawings and assist with documentation for ongoing projects.
- Create and revise plans and elevations.
- Contribute to design presentations.
- Assist in coordinating integration of architectural solutions with other disciplines.
- Collaborate with senior architects.
- Participate in design discussions.
- Assist in researching materials, codes, and standards.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar tools).
- Basic knowledge of relevant building codes and regulations are beneficial.
Qualifications
- Foundational skills in Architecture and Architectural Design, including familiarity with design principles, building layouts, and drawing standards.
- Skills in Solution Architecture and Integration, with the ability to understand how architectural components interact with structural, MEP, and interior systems.
- Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Architecture or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Problem-solving ability.
- Willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
