About the Role

• Full or part-time job opening at Below Deck Bottle Shop.
• Will train for a thorough understanding of craft beer and wine.

Key Responsibilities

• Build customer confidence by making the store experience interactive, engaging, and reassuring.
• Maximize customer experience by uncovering needs and offering solutions.
• Maintain the visual appeal of the store.
• Develop positive customer relationships.
• Ensure customers are greeted and waited on quickly, efficiently, and in a pleasant manner.
• Assist in stocking and organizing displays, ensuring all merchandise is presented professionally.
• Operate the cash register, promote sales, and assist customers.
• Perform stock room duties: quality control, processing, pricing, and stocking merchandise.
• Resolve customer complaints and handle merchandise returns pleasantly and professionally.
• Ensure all safety rules are complied with and appropriate safety equipment is used.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous retail or customer service-oriented experience preferred.
• Ability to listen carefully and actively.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• General physical abilities to perform clerical, cashier, merchandising, and supervisory functions.
• Ability to lift and/or move heavy objects or assist in this process.
• Availability for flexible scheduling.
