About the Role
Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Peoria, AZ. In this role, you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections, and be the face of the company. You will have opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.
- Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
- Perform data entry of patient information accurately and in a timely manner.
- Process billing information and collect payments when required.
- Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.
- Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
- Provide superior customer service to all patients.
- Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
- Travel to additional sites when needed.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
- Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision.
Qualifications
- Phlebotomy certification or completed training program, OR 2 years or more experience as a phlebotomist.
- 1 year or more experience drawing on geriatrics.
In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency.
Work Schedule
Monday – Friday, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm; additional days/hours as needed.
