Growth Associate (Intern)

About the Role

Melotech is revolutionizing media and entertainment, creating art through technology. As Growth Associate (Intern), you will help run the engine of organic reach end-to-end, focusing on creators, formats, trends, and the numbers behind them. This role is measured on the reach achieved per hour and euro spent. You will work directly with founders, the Growth Manager, product, and data teams, focusing on making new products go viral across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. Your primary tasks will be to build the machine behind this growth by finding creators and communities, turning successful strategies into repeatable playbooks, and running numerous experiments.

Key Responsibilities

• Creator Network: Finding, briefing, and paying creators and pages at scale, and retaining those who deliver results.
• Seeding: Placing products in relevant formats and communities at the right time and volume for maximum reach.
• Trend Spotting: Identifying emerging formats and memes early and acting on them quickly.
• Experiments: Conducting frequent, low-cost tests, identifying successful strategies, and developing repeatable playbooks.
• New Channels: Discovering new platforms and communities where attention is cost-effective.
• Organic and Paid Integration: Collaborating with the Growth Manager to scale organic successes with paid efforts and feedback paid learnings into organic strategies.
• Measurement: Analyzing key metrics, understanding the insights provided by different engagement types (e.g., saves and shares vs. views), and calculating the cost per view.
• Tooling: Developing necessary trackers, scripts, and automations, utilizing platform data and AI tools.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Platform Fluency: Deep understanding of TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts, with the ability to explain content performance drivers.
• Hands-on Experience: Proven experience growing an account, page, or side project, or supporting a startup/brand on social media.
• Creator Marketing: Enjoyment in working with creators and a good sense for native content.
• Creativity: Ability to generate and test new ideas in a structured manner.
• Analytical Skills: Comfort with numbers and spreadsheets. SQL, Python, or AI tools are a plus.
• Pace: Thrives in a fast-paced, performance-oriented environment.
• Creator Background: Experience as a creator or managing pages with a significant following is a significant advantage.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree from a top-tier university.
• Outstanding academic record, demonstrated through grades, scholarships, or awards.
