Power BI Developer Intern

About the Role

Crossing Infotech is hiring a Power BI Developer Intern for a full-time remote internship in India. The internship runs for 1 to 3 months with a monthly stipend of INR 15,000 to INR 16,500. Freshers and students are welcome to apply. Interns work on live projects under the guidance of experienced team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Build interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI Desktop and publish them to Power BI Service.
• Connect Power BI to Excel, SQL databases, and other data sources and prepare data using Power Query.
• Create data models, relationships, and calculated measures using DAX.
• Write SQL queries to extract, clean, and prepare data for reporting.
• Design clear charts, KPIs, filters, and slicers that make data easy to understand.
• Refresh, check, and update dashboards and fix data errors or report issues.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS and business reports for the team.
• Work with the team to understand requirements and deliver tasks on time.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Basic knowledge of Power BI (reports, visuals, filters, slicers).
• Basic understanding of DAX formulas and measures.
• Basic understanding of SQL (SELECT, JOIN, GROUP BY, WHERE).
• Basic knowledge of Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charts).
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and spoken English communication.
• Candidates must have a laptop or computer and a stable internet connection.

Good to Have

• Knowledge of Power Query, data modeling, and star schema.
• Familiarity with Tableau, Looker Studio, or other BI tools.
• Basic understanding of Python or statistics.
• Any Power BI course, certification (PL-300), or dashboard project experience.

Eligibility

• Students and recent graduates in B.Tech, BCA, MCA, B.Sc, BBA, MBA, B.Com, or any related field.
• Freshers interested in building a career in business intelligence and data analytics.
