About the Role
This role focuses on improving user experience within a sixty-person ed-tech product, specifically addressing common user confusions and small frictions that impact renewals. The company is an ed-tech business selling to schools and colleges, partnering with Flexiple to hire its first Associate Product Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Listen and understand user issues by sitting in on support escalations and school onboarding calls.
- Read through user feedback to identify impactful small frictions.
- Write lightweight specifications for fixes and small features.
- Work with engineers to build and launch features.
- Verify if launched features have positively impacted user experience.
- Manage the intake of feature requests from sales and customer-success teams.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Comfortable writing a clear one-page spec without hand-holding.
- Some familiarity with tools like Excel, SQL, or a product-analytics dashboard.
- Patient enough to talk to actual teachers and school admins and take their feedback seriously.
Qualifications
- 0-3 years of experience.
- A stint in product, customer success, or business analysis at a software company is ideal.
