About the Role
Flex is looking for a Technician - Engineering Change Management to join their team in Coimbatore.
Key Responsibilities
- Create part numbers for BOM in Agile & Baan.
- Create AVL in Agile & Baan system.
- Download customer documents (e.g., product specifications) and release them in CDC.
- Act as a Change Analyst during NPI for new changes.
- Release Part Lists to production for new models and after ECO implementation.
- Efficiently manage ECOs for manufacturing sites globally.
- Use Agile (PLM) system for ECO creation, reviewing, routing, tracking, releasing, and distribution.
- Study ECOs / Drawings closely and coordinate with site Process / Product Engineering teams.
- Work closely with Engineering and materials teams to review product updates / modifications.
- Respond to Business Partners (requestors) and customers on queries relating to Engineering Change Orders.
- Ensure adherence to targets set for all Process Metrics.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- NPI (New Product Introduction)
- ECO (Engineering Change Order management)
- BOM (Bill Of Materials) Management
- Hands-on experience in any PLM software linked to the ECO process.
- Knowledge of MS Office and MS Outlook.
Qualifications
- Diploma or B.SC (EEE/ECE) graduate.
- (0-2) years of experience as an NPI/ECO Engineer in a manufacturing setup.
- Preferably in EMS Industry.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English (MANDATORY).
- Good analytical skills.
