About the Role
- This is a benefited, full-time position working 10-hr night shifts at Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla.
- Shifts are generally from 10 pm-8:45 am three shifts per week and 10 pm-7:45 am one shift per week, on varied nights.
- Hours may vary as needed.
- Weekends and holidays are required on a rotating basis.
- This position is eligible for up to $10k in New Hire Retention Incentives.
- Relocation up to $3k is available if moving from 100+ miles away.
- Internal candidates, rehires that left Scripps less than 3 years ago, and candidates with less than 1 year of experience are not eligible for hiring incentives.

Requirements & Tech Stack
- Bachelor’s Degree or degree acceptable for California Laboratory Licensure.
- CDPH Licensure: MTA (Clinical Laboratory Scientist) Licensed to perform work in all areas of the Clinical Lab.
Qualifications
- New graduates are welcome to apply.
- Preferred: 1+ years of recent Blood Bank experience.
- Preferred: 1+ years of experience as CLS Generalist.
