About the Role
A full-time, on-site Chiller Plant Operator role based in Mumbai.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and operate chiller plant equipment, including compressors, pumps, cooling towers, and associated mechanical systems.
- Check system parameters and record operating data.
- Adjust controls for optimal performance.
- Respond to alarms and technical issues.
- Carry out routine inspections and basic preventive maintenance.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams for repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Work closely with supervisors and other plant personnel to maintain smooth plant operations and minimize downtime.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Skills in Plant Operations and Machine Operation for chiller and related mechanical systems.
- Skills in Maintenance and Quality Control.
- Forklift Operation or similar material-handling skills for safe movement of equipment and supplies, if required.
- Ability to read basic technical drawings, operating manuals, and log sheets.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to work in shifts and respond to operational emergencies.
Qualifications
- A relevant technical qualification in mechanical, refrigeration, or industrial engineering (diploma or certification) is preferred.
- Knowledge of chiller systems, HVAC processes, and safety standards in industrial environments is beneficial.
