About the Role

A full-time, on-site position based in Kolkata, focused on overseeing daily store operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations.
• Monitor stock levels.
• Organize inventory.
• Ensure products are properly received, stored, and dispatched.
• Supervise store staff.
• Coordinate schedules.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness within the store.
• Handle customer inquiries.
• Support customer service activities.
• Work to improve customer satisfaction through timely and accurate service.
• Implement retail loss prevention practices.
• Maintain records.
• Prepare reports on stock movement.
• Collaborate with management to meet store performance goals.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Store Management skills: inventory handling, stock control, supervision of store operations.
• Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service skills: ability to handle customer queries and support a positive customer experience.
• Communication skills: to interact effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
• Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices.
• Relevant experience in retail or trading operations, preferably in a supervisory or in-charge role.
• Ability to work on-site in Kolkata and manage full-time responsibilities with attention to detail and reliability.
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory or point-of-sale systems would be beneficial.

Qualifications

• A diploma or degree in commerce, business, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory if supported by strong relevant experience.
