About the Role
Suryapravah LLP is seeking a full-time, on-site PLC Automation Engineer in Mumbai. This role involves designing, programming, and commissioning PLC-based control systems for industrial applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing, programming, and commissioning PLC-based control systems.
- Configuring control panels, field instruments, and communication networks.
- Diagnosing and resolving automation issues.
- Optimizing process control logic.
- Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on PLC and related automation hardware.
- Collaborating with project teams to develop technical documentation.
- Supporting installation and testing at customer sites.
- Providing on-site technical support and training to clients.
- Coordinating with vendors and internal stakeholders for timely project execution and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong skills in Electrical Engineering and Automation for industrial control systems.
- Solid Process Control and Troubleshooting skills for commissioning and maintaining PLC-based systems.
- Knowledge of Robotics and related integration with PLC and motion control platforms.
- Experience with PLC programming (e.g., ladder logic, function blocks).
- Experience with SCADA/HMI.
- Experience with industrial communication protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
- Adherence to safety standards.
- Willingness to work at industrial sites.
- Effective communication skills.
- Documentation skills.
- Capacity to work both independently and in cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related Engineering field is preferred.
